Leave a Legacy
By Bill Koontz

Andrew Carnegie, well-known for his philanthropy, once said, "The man who dies rich dies disgraced." It must have been straight from his heart, for unlike any businessman of his time, he made his fortune and then began systematically giving it away.

By taking an active role in planning your financial affairs, you can leave a legacy while actually increasing your current after-tax income by leaving assets to CityCURE rather than the IRS. This is a clear win-win situation!

Here are some practical examples of how Planned Giving can help you...and provide your own legacy for the Lord's work being done in the lives of youth at CityCURE.

Leave a Gift in Your Will
By leaving a portion of your assets to the Lord's work, you continue the practice of good stewardship. Even a modest dollar or percentage amount can accomplish great things.

Life Insurance
Either purchase a new life insurance policy naming a CityCURE as owner or beneficiary, or simply make CityCURE a beneficiary of an existing policy.

Appreciated Assets
There are a number of opportunities to utilize assets that have increased in value, and in a way that not only creates tax advantages for you, but also provides immediate or future income.
